This program will feature NSU professor of percussion, Dr. Oliver Molina performing American Composer Kevin Puts’ “Concerto for Marimba.” Also, on the program is Aaron Copland’s “John Henry,” George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris Suite,” and Charles Ives’ “The Camp Meeting” that contains several familiar early American hymns. We will end the program with Beethoven’s “Egmont Overture.” A story of sacrifice, liberty, and triumph over tyranny!
